Lightning over downtown Charleston
Another excellent chase day with another set of photo goals realized - bringing to a close two of the most productive consecutive days of chasing I've ever had in my home state.

For today's second round of storms, I started in Teays Valley with a plan to wait on a strong cluster of storms to arrive from the west. While I waited, a weak storm passed over and started pulling more upward discharges off the WVAH tower. I set up and got four hits (I saw six) from the more distant vantage point I'd always been intending to get. The tower is likely well over 20 total strikes in the past 24 hours.
With radar showing the original storm cluster moving in toward Charleston, I went back to Fort Hill to try for another set of shots I'd always been looking for, and was blessed with success.
