Close calls on wet interstate

Date filmed: June 26, 2006
Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Source: HDV 1080i
Speed: Realtime
Class: HD Severe Weather

Description: An accident farther down the road is bringing I-64 traffic to a sudden standstill in downtown Charleston. Fast-moving traffic is encountering the backup on wet roads on a dangerous curve, with cars and trucks braking hard to slow quickly. Two very close calls are caught on camera as fast cars slam on their brakes and swerve to stop for the surprise traffic jam. One speeding car, its wheels locked up in a skid, appears that it may have actually made contact with the SUV in front of it.
