Models are still in remarkable agreement about a major upper-level trough crossing the Plains, Midwest and eastern US next week. This is looking like a fairly certain series of significant severe weather (possibly tornado) outbreaks, with the specific areas affected yet to be determined.

The details of my Kansas trip next week are still up in the air (transportation and carpooling arrangements, etc), but I should know the specifics tomorrow. If the Lord is willing, I may be able to photograph storms at least one of the events afforded by this system if our schedule allows it.
