I've lost more than $1 million to copyright infringement in the last 15 years, and it's finally brought an end to my professional storm chasing operation. The observation deck of the Compton Hill water tower (at Grand Avenue and I-44 in St. Louis) is open only twice a month, meaning there is only one chance per year to capture this view of the St. Louis skyline with the peak fall foliage of The Gate and Lafayette Square neighborhoods:
