Description: Six out of more than twelve accidents on an icy interstate bridge on I-64 are caught on camera. Six cars and SUVs lose control and spin out, some hitting the barrier hard with bumpers falling off and sparks flying. A tractor trailer slides and recovers. Several very close calls with tractor trailers and other vehicles round out this intense sequence. Police finally shut down the highway and the disabled cars are loaded onto flatbed trucks. Description: A speeding car loses control as it encounters the sharp rain-slickened curve at the Oakwood Bridge on Interstate 64 in Charleston. With a shower of sparks and the heart-pounding sounds of crunching metal, the car bounces off of both barriers and rolls over onto its roof, with numerous parts of the vehicle breaking off on impact and scattering across the highway. The occupants crawl out of the rear window and flee as another car hits part of the debris and drags it down the highway, flattening one of their tires. Other cars and 18-wheelers barely miss the wrecked vehicle as they come around the blind curve at highway speeds. Includes close-up ground-level shots of the aftermath. A second car enters the curve too fast and loses control on the icy bridge, spinning out and miraculously avoiding hitting other traffic or the barriers.
