A short-lived supercell storm begins to fizzle near Gage, Oklahoma : A short-lived supercell storm begins to fizzle near Gage, Oklahoma as we drive west toward it on May 29, 2001. Other storm chasers were closer to this cell and reported a brief wall cloud a few minutes earlier. Only moments later we would learn of more promising storms developing to our south in Texas, and began heading in that direction.
