Heard a bunch of commotion from birds and squirrels outside my window, and looked outside to see this guy chilling on the back porch, with the fearless gray cat sitting about a foot away closely inspecting it. He was at least six feet long when stretched out, and didn't seem to care that I got a within a couple feet to get some photos (black snakes are non-venomous and non-aggressive). I'm sure the chipmunks don't appreciate this new visitor - now they've got cats AND snakes after them.
