Severe weather strikes Appalachians: Friday's storms part of active weather pattern affecting midwest and northeast: March 27, 2005

CLARKSBURG, WV - A string of active thunderstorm days continued as increasingly intense storms moved across West Virginia. Large hail and damaging winds were reported in parts of the state on Friday evening. More strong to severe storms are expected intermittently through as far as next week.
