2009: A good season, despite no tornadoes
Late August usually means the end of lightning/thunderstorm season here in the central Appalachians. So, it's a good time to take a look back at how the season went - and I can say that it's been another great year. Despite the lack of tornadoes during the peak season in the Plains, the sky was cooperative in plenty of other ways. I'm more than happy with a season like this - here are a few of the highlights:
