Something big in the works next week
I've lost more than $1 million to copyright infringement in the last 15 years, and it's finally brought an end to my professional storm chasing operation. This page is a detailed account of the biggest threat to my photography and video operation that I had to battle daily to just barely survive, and eventually could not overcome. It's a problem facing all of my colleagues as well. |
Models are still in remarkable agreement about a major upper-level trough crossing the Plains, Midwest and eastern US next week. This is looking like a fairly certain series of significant severe weather (possibly tornado) outbreaks, with the specific areas affected yet to be determined.

The details of my Kansas trip next week are still up in the air (transportation and carpooling arrangements, etc), but I should know the specifics tomorrow. If the Lord is willing, I may be able to chase at least one of the events afforded by this system if our schedule allows it.
