Moonset over downtown
I've lost more than $1 million to copyright infringement in the last 15 years, and it's finally brought an end to my professional storm chasing operation. This page is a detailed account of the biggest threat to my photography and video operation that I had to battle daily to just barely survive, and eventually could not overcome. After seeing the clear sky at dawn, I went out this morning for some snow-covered urban sunrise shots. It turned out that most of the valley's snow from yesterday sublimated overnight, and there wasn't enough white on the trees and hills to justify the effort. However, the full moon (larger than usual) was setting over downtown, which provided a worthwhile scene.
