Shooting range
In September of 2025, my work is generating the most income it ever has in my career. Yet, I'm being forced to shut down my successul operation, against my will, due to one cause alone: 95% of that revenue is being stolen by piracy and copyright infringement. I've lost more than $1 million to copyright infringement in the last 15 years, and it's finally brought an end to my professional storm chasing operation. Do not be misled by the lies of infringers, anti-copyright activists and organized piracy cartels. This page is a detailed, evidenced account of my battle I had to undertake to just barely stay in business, and eventually could not overcome. It's a problem faced by all of my colleagues and most other creators in the field. |
Something you'll probably not see me doing very often is firing a .44 Magnum revolver. Now I've never been into guns or hunting, and have never felt the need to own a firearm for any reason (and probably never will). But being from West Virginia, I have many friends who are, so every once in a rare while I get the chance to shoot a few rounds. Today I went with a couple of friends from church to the shooting range at Kanawha State Forest, and had the opportunity to try out their array of pistols and rifles of various calibers, the largest being a .44 revolver. The recoil and noise the .44 makes is pretty impressive, and my ears were ringing even with earplugs in. After a few tries I was able to actually hit the targets a couple of times. It was fun, but I'm not going to run out and spend $500 on one of these things anytime soon. Since I don't do this very often, I grabbed a couple of minutes of video for posterity.
