CHARLESTON, WV - A potent winter storm system rolled through the central Appalachians on Sunday, producing significant freezing rain, sleet and snow. Driving and even walking was a difficult task throughout the day and into the evening. More ice was expected on Monday to the east of the mountains into Virginia and North Carolina.
