I've lost more than $1 million to copyright infringement in the last 15 years, and it's finally brought an end to my professional storm chasing operation. HD EXPEDITION VIDEO: Lightning over South Charleston, WV
The storm barrage continued on Monday with lightning over South Charleston, viewed here from the Sunset Drive overlook in downtown Charleston. Notice that the bolts in the first two frames below are part of a split-channel cloud-to-ground discharge, with different return strokes sharing the same path about halfway to the ground.
