A very short expedition tonight about 25 miles from home yielded some great lightning with a severe storm moving south from I-70 at Greenville, IL to I-64 at Nashville. There was some decent hail indicated on radar, but since the lightning was so good, I didn't allow the core to overtake me. I got some nice bolts at New Minden along Highway 127, all handheld.
