I spent the 4th weekend at Matt and Beth's in Raleigh. On the way to and from, I took some back roads while crossing the Blue Ridge, which rarely disappoint regardless of sunny or gloomy weather. Most of these are from around the Bastian, VA area, with the exception of Pilot Mountain (just across the border in NC).
