Caught some very nice lightning at sunset at Miami, Oklahoma. Currently in Tulsa awaiting more storms later tonight. * * * * *

Oklahoma-bound in a couple of hours (after church) for a nighttime lightning chase to precede tomorrow's event. As a low-level jet strengthens later tonight, elevated thunderstorms should develop in eastern Oklahoma/Kansas and western Missouri by evening, providing some opportunities for lightning photography. Target for tonight's lightning session is Coweta, OK. * * * * *
