Ice storm in the eastern St. Louis metro area into rural Illinois (New for February 3, 2011)

Over a half-inch of ice accreted on everything in sight during an early February winter storm in the eastern portions of the St. Louis metro area. The first clear-sky sunset and sunrise after the storm created a gleaming crystal-like landscape full of these amazing scenes. - Dan
