Web customer appreciation part 1

Most of you probably know that my main career is web site design. (If not, then I guess you do now!) Although weather video will on occasion be a full-time job when the atmosphere is active, the web business is where I have been established for the past eleven years. This June, I will reach the ten year mark working for CIS Internet. As A.D.D. as I am, it's remarkable that I've stayed in one place for that long. CIS has made that easy though. I could not have asked for a better employer - they've given me the freedom and support to pursue my weather video business and storm chase expeditions from day 1. At CIS, I've been free to drop everything and head west whenever a huge tornado outbreak setup shows up. That has meant a great deal to me - as most of my tornado, hurricane, flood, lightning and winter weather intercepts through the years are partly attributable to the flexibility that our company offers me. For that I am extremely grateful!

Ten years is remarkable longevity for any IT company, and at CIS we continue to expand and grow. As everyone in our office will tell you, we give the credit to the Lord for giving us the grace we need to stay in business through the years - as well as the blessings to expand.

With that said, I thought I'd start a intermittent feature of this blog highlighting some of our recently completed projects as a gesture of appreciation. Without our clients' support, both I and our company wouldn't be where we are today.

Patio Pro was an exciting project for both me and our company, as it is the first site that we've completed in our Raleigh, North Carolina expansion effort. Patio Pro deals in high-end outdoor furniture and accessories in the triangle NC area (Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill).

Bill Coyle has been a friend of mine for many years, and so it was a pleasure to have the privilege of working on the site for his new photography business. The couple pictured in this capture happens to be my brother Matt and his wife Beth!

CIPS (Commercial Industrial Painting Solutions) is one of our repeat customers, specializing in the restoration of industrial and commercial building exteriors. This site was my first collaboration with good friend, marketing guru and fellow designer Rob Russo, who created the logo for CIPS that we incorporated into the animated Flash header. Rob is one of the most talented graphic designers I know, and it is great to have him on our team.

Garage Door Operators in Scott Depot, WV is another one of our longtime customers and repeat design projects. Lyle Helmick and his staff have always been great to work with! If you're in the Kanawha and Teays valley areas and have needs for garage doors, openers or home automation systems, give them a call.

If you have a need for web design, marketing or any type of IT services, give the CIS office a call. We focus on West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina and Kentucky, but we do projects anywhere they're needed.
