Clear late October day in the mountains
It would have been great to have 12 more hours of the sky that we had today. The sun sets too fast this time of year. I hit the usual spots around southeastern WV, eventually making it down to Big Walker Lookout (just across the border into Virginia) to do another tower climb. Apparently peak colors in VA are still a few days to a week away, while most of the WV highlands are at or near peak. If I can get away again this week for another clear day, I'll be back for a third shoot. I have a few panoramas to work on from this trip (to be posted at a later date).

I have been anticipating the arrival of your fall color imagery and once again you've delivered a flawless performance! Thank you also for your compliment the other day.

Thanks Paul! Hopefully we will get another clear day here sometime soon. There is too much to chase in one day!
