I went out to photograph Comet Hyakutake near its peak in March 1996 during my years as a student at WVIT in Montgomery, WV. This spot on Boonesborough Road across the Kanawha River from Charlton Heights, near Deepwater, was a great light pollution-free spot to view and shoot the comet. Shot on Kodak 100ASA print film on a Pentax K-1000 SLR with a 50mm prime lens.
