Illinois wildflower peak
A few fields in the lower Midwest are turning bright, saturated yellow with wildflowers this week. From some quick researching, these are called 'Golden Ragwort', and they offer another deep color to the green and blue landscapes on the prairies.
Beautiful photos. My favorites are #1 and #3. Nice.
