Another couple of hours out in the corn fields shooting meteors tonight. I was looking for a windmill, but ended up settling on a railroad crossing (again) at Germantown. The action was better tonight, though the Perseids are generally too dim to show up well at 1600ISO. I did see the brightest Perseid fireball I have seen so far, and caught it in frame. This view was looking east-northeast.

From Wednesday night:

I went out east of Okawville between midnight and 1:30AM to see if the Perseid meteor shower was active. For about a 15 minute period, there were a few good bursts of activity. These were the two brightest ones that happened in frame. Interestingly, this was facing southwestward. I didn't see many meteors to the northeast where they were supposed to be.
