Frost and freezing temperatures in late April: Most of West Virginia and surrounding areas under frost/freeze advisories: April 28, 2004
CHARLESTON, WV - Temperatures dropped to around 30 degrees in and around Charleston on Wednesday morning, prompting the formation of frost on just about everything outside. A thick layer of ice on cars and trucks greeted residents in town, requiring the ice scrapers to be put to use once more. Below: Scraping ice from windshields was a common sight in Charleston this morning, from Storm Highway video on The Weather Channel on Wednesday.
