March 13, 2003 - Thunderstorms & Valley Fog

An active weather day arrived on March 13 as thunderstorms swept across the state during the afternoon. Earlier in the morning, dense valley fog gave mountaintop viewers a spectacular show as it flowed through the Kanawha Valley like a giant river of clouds.
