February 20, 2003 Ice Falls from Television Tower

Warmer temperatures and sunlight on February 20 melted ice clinging to the big WCHS TV tower near Scott Depot, about a mile from the site of the WVAH tower collapse. Large chunks of ice fell off in patches while many bystanders watched from Poplar Fork Road.
