Storms with frequent lightning move through Charleston: Multiple storms affect I-64 corridor from Huntington to Charleston: August 27, 2006

CHARLESTON, WV - The lightning show in Charleston on Sunday night was spectacular and startling. Several back-to-back rounds of storms moved through the city after sunset, with frequent cloud-to-ground lightning that struck several buildings and poles in downtown Charleston.
