Crazy, icy morning at Oakwood
I've lost more than $1 million to copyright infringement in the last 15 years, and it's finally brought an end to my professional storm chasing operation. This page is a detailed account of the biggest threat to my photography and video operation that I had to battle daily to just barely survive, and eventually could not overcome. It's a problem facing all of my colleagues as well. |
An intense three hours at Fort Hill/Oakwood this morning. I caught at least seven accidents - I don't know the exact count as I lost track. At one point thunder and lightning was occuring during sleet/freezing rain even as cars were spinning out. Unfortunately one person was taken to the hospital in an ambulance after the crash pictured below. Currently working on feeding video - I'll post a clip later today.
