This is a shot from Friday from the parking garage right behind my office building, looking northeast. This, by the way, would be the most convenient place to park, but not for $60 a month!

I've been dog-sitting this week for my parents' cocker spaniel Tess. I'm 100% 'dog person' - so her company has been good. This is her 'do you want to go for a car ride' head-tilt reaction:

She goes nuts watching animals on TV and YouTube. She's checking herself out here on my desktop, after ripping some keys off of my laptop trying to get to herself in the screen there. I was able to pop all but the F5 key back on, which is toast. Well, not doing that again.

And, I finally did something a little out of character - I joined Facebook, after realizing everyone else I know is on there. I was able to add the XML feed to this blog onto my profile, which is about the only thing that will get updated on my profile page. But at least I'm up with the times now.

And now the token weather update paragraph. I was a little concerned about freezing rain here tomorrow morning, as a warm front brings precip up over upper-20s surface temps. But now it looks like the rain will hold off until afternoon, well after temps have warmed. If precip races in faster and gets here early though, then watch out! Although I don't expect that to happen, I will be keeping a close eye on it tonight. For later on, snow is starting to make an appearance on the GFS model for Sunday, though QPF (precip totals) are light and temps are borderline freezing. Probably looks good for another mountain snow event, but since we're firmly 'in the season' now, Charleston needs to keep an eye on this too.

Hey Dan, can't find you on FB. What network are you in?

Okay Dan, I've looked all over the place. How do I XML my blog to facebook?
- Posted by Steve Miller OK from Mooe, OK

Steve, there's an 'import' tab on the top of your profile page with the RSS icon - from there you can add the URL to your blog's XML file.
