It's officially winter - unofficially

The furnace is on at the house, the heater has been on in the car, and I'm having to put on a jacket when I go out in the morning. For me, that means I'm officially in my 'unofficial winter mode'. Summer is over. Bring on the arctic airmasses, upslope snow showers and Alberta clipper snowstorms. I'm ready for it. Here are some 'signs of the season' shots from this morning and yesterday.

Fall foliage progression
My brother and I went out to the Paint Creek area near Mahan/Mossy on Friday to shoot fall foliage landscapes. With the consecutive hard freezes, the leaves should be falling fairly quickly now.
