HD EXPEDITION VIDEO: Lightning near Okawville, IL

(In the video linked above, the gap between lightning/thunder has been shortened to save bandwidth). A few storms managed to fire this afternoon, generally from St. Louis southeastward. I went south and east of New Baden to take a look.

This large dust plume was kicked up by outflow near Nashville, IL, and was visible for miles:

Lightning near Okawville - generally "video frame grab unfriendly" due to intense first return strokes that overexposed.
