This earthquake was felt across a wide swath of the Mid-Atlantic, Appalachians and Northeast, including all of Virginia and West Virginia, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Virginia Beach and Raleigh. The quake was widely felt in my hometown of Charleston, WV, where I was to be traveling to tomorrow evening (missed this event by a day). The epicenter was in Mineral, VA, near I-64 between Richmond and Charlottesville.
