Tornado stills from 2013 Plains season - finally done
In September of 2025, my work is generating the most income it ever has in my career. Yet, I'm being forced to shut down my successul operation, against my will, due to one cause alone: 95% of that revenue is being stolen by piracy and copyright infringement. I've lost more than $1 million to copyright infringement in the last 15 years, and it's finally brought an end to my professional storm chasing operation. Do not be misled by the lies of infringers, anti-copyright activists and organized piracy cartels. This page is a detailed, evidenced account of my battle I had to undertake to just barely stay in business, and eventually could not overcome. It's a problem faced by all of my colleagues and most other creators in the field. |
GALLERY: Tornado stills gallery
Thanks to yesterday's Midwestern severe weather potential not living up to expectations, I was home from a short trip into St. Louis by 6PM. With that extra time in the evening, I made the final push to code the rest of the pages for this season's tornado stills. There are 38 new images in the tornado photo gallery from this season.
As I mentioned in the previous post, there are many more quality images that have yet to be processed, but I'm holding off on doing those until I see how the new additions to the gallery perform over the next few months. I have a few lightning and storm structure images left to add to the gallery, then the task of finishing the chase logs for each big tornado day. When those are done, that should be all for the 2013 Plains season to-do list.
What a great gallery Dan, great job! The gallery looks like a collection of 10 seasons. Like you said before, it was really the season for a book.
