FULL ACCOUNT: January 24, 2014 south Texas road icing event

I returned home Saturday night from a marathon 3-day trip to south Texas to observe and document a high-risk freezing rain road icing event, possibly the worst case scenario for such an event. Even though this was a winter storm 'chase' of sorts, I chose to post the full account at the site.
