Dan Robinson/stormhighway.com are pleased to announce several unique openings for sponsorship opportunities.

Scope of Exposure

  • The stormhighway.com vehicle logs tens of thousands of miles every year across the United States, covering all types of weather events from hurricanes, tornado outbreaks, winter storms, floods and more.

  • In 2005 alone, we traveled through or covered events in 23 states.

  • In 2005 alone, we documented events or made stops in numerous major US cities including Dallas, Chicago, Houston, Memphis, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Wichita, Kansas City, Omaha, Raleigh, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Indianapolis, Lexington and many others.

  • The stormhighway.com web site receives an average of over 3,700 pageviews a day by an average of over 1,400 unique visitors, amounting to well over 100,000 pageviews by over 52,000 visitors per month.
We believe that sponsorships will create a win-win relationship by using our highly visible operations to promote your company, while aiding us in the development of exciting new mobile technology and expansion of our coverage operations.

The two sponsorship options we have available are as follows:

Cellular Internet Communications
stormhighway.com is seeking a partner to sponsor a cellular internet communications system for our vehicle. This system will be used to send live GPS and webcam images from our vehicle to the Live Event Tracker page on the stormhighway.com web site during our coverage of weather events across the country. Sponsors will receive prominent advertising on our Live Event Tracker page, advertising on our home page, and unlimited advertising use of video and photography captured during the sponsorship period.

Vehicle Sponsorship
stormhighway.com is seeking a partner to sponsor parts of our annual storm chase expedition in 2006 and 2007. Advertising opportunities include exposure in the form of decals on the stormhighway.com vehicle during the entire storm chase expedition, one year of advertising on the stormhighway.com web site, and unlimited advertising use of video and photography captured during the sponsorship period.

We are interested in exploring other sponsorship possibilites and would be happy to discuss them with your company. Please contact us at this link or via email at [email protected] for more information.

From Dan: How the crime of copyright infringement took $1 million from me and shut down my operation.

My work is, at this very moment you are reading this, generating the most income it ever has in my career. Yet, I was forced to shut down the professional side of my successul operation, against my will, due to one cause alone: 95% of that revenue is being stolen by piracy and copyright infringement. I've lost more than $1 million to copyright infringement in the last 15 years, and it's finally brought an end to my professional storm chasing operation. Do not be misled by the lies of infringers, anti-copyright activists and organized piracy cartels. This page is a detailed, evidenced account of my battle I had to undertake to just barely stay in business, and eventually could not overcome. It's a problem faced by all of my colleagues and most other creators in the field.
