Winter scores a point

A light coating of snow is already on the ground in Charleston, what I consider a 'point scored' for winter. A lot earlier in the evening than I expected to see. Still too warm for road problems at this point.

While out checking on the bridges, I did come across this bizarre accident on the I-77 curve downtown - non-ice related, as nothing was sticking yet.

I'll be outside keeping an eye on this event, though with salt trucks already running I doubt there will be any problems.
