Summer sunrise in St. Louis - July 11

I worked in a short photo session downtown this morning during the favorable lighting conditions afforded by dawn twilight and sunrise. Despite being at the daily minimum temperature, the heat and humidity was already quite oppressive!

With Leonor K. Sullivan Boulevard finally not underwater after weeks of flooding, the riverfront was accessable for these sunrise views of the Eads and Martin Luther King bridges:

With clouds quickly moving in, there was just enough time to complete my shot list for the morning with the other two historic waterworks standpipes off of North Grand:
