VIDEO: Thundersnow at Marissa, Illinois

Thundersnow occured across the region today in association with today's snow event (video link is above). Mostly 3" to 5" so far on the Illinois side with higher totals being reported in Missouri. From Venedy around noon:

Whiteout near Trenton about 5PM, about 4" here:

3" so far in New Baden as of 6PM:

Insane! We received absolutely nothing up here, very disappointing. Dig the thundersnow audio!

Thanks! It has been a 6-years-long goal to capture thundersnow, glad to cross that off the list now! Now to get the plant stack getting hit during snow.....
