I almost got struck by lightning during this storm. It struck 30 yards from me. Somehow, I didn't feel much of a shock (nor did I get any burn marks) yet another observer had a close call with lightning in Okmulgee hours after the El Reno tornado. He ended up with a burn mark on his arm and it was 50 yards away. This storm did have quite a CG barrage!
