Yet, I was forced to shut down the professional side of my successul operation, against my will, due to one cause alone: 95% of that revenue is being stolen by piracy and copyright infringement. 2019 started with a very active period of winter weather around the country, with 3,800 miles logged for icy road coverage chases just through January and the first half of February. The severe weather season was busy but mostly unproductive, with personal-record-high mileage and costs and little in the way of dramatic captures. Some unique events and trips have nonetheless made the year interesting, with a West Virginia tornadic supercell and a trip to California for earthquakes.
